The Staying Safe website is a resource developed by 4 Mental Health. At a Loss helps bereaved people find support and wellbeing. They campagin for there to be universal routine referral so that everyone can find timely, appropriate and effective support in the interests of their mental and physical health as well as practical, financial, social and spiritual wellbeing.
Aim to help those bereaved from day one, acknowledge their grief and provide reassurance, a virtual hand of friendship and ongoing support.
Offer help to bereaved people to consider if they need additional support and where to get this from.
Specific service under Marie Curie for people who might want to have ongoing support, from the same bereavement volunteer, over the phone. You can access up to six telephone sessions of 45 minutes.
