Self care doesn’t have to be big, can be as simple as:
· Going to the toilet when you need to
· Making yourself a drink/filling a bottle of water for yourself in the morning
· Making yourself lunch
· Prioritising yourself and taking baby along (i.e. if you need a walk and some fresh air, can baby nap in the pushchair?)
· Muting social media / triggering contacts
· Feeling in control - things like TOM https://theorganisedmum.com/
Look for achievable self care ideas that work for you. It might be helpful to have ideas for different situations for example, when you are at home or out in public. Make a note in your phone so you can access them quickly.
